We are thrilled to announce that our beach and facilities are now part of the “Plastic Free Beach” program, a core initiative of the “Keep Our Sand and Sea Plastic Free” project.
Our mission is to protect the pristine beauty of our coastline by encouraging a shift away from single-use plastics. By joining this movement—supported by the TUI Care Foundation and the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI)—we are committed to being part of the solution to marine pollution.

How we are making a difference:
- Zero Plastic Alternatives: We have replaced single-use plastic items with eco-friendly, biodegradable, or reusable alternatives.

Our Actions for a Plastic-Free Beach
Cigarette butts: The top plastic waste item globally. We provide reusable ashtrays and encourage the use of our designated smoking areas to keep the sand clean.
Refillable water bottles: We encourage guests to bring their own bottles and offer high-quality refillable options for purchase.
Reusable cups & boxes: We offer discounts to guests using their own cups and implement a deposit-return system for our takeaway boxes.
Plastic straws: We have eliminated plastic straws, offering eco-friendly alternatives only when necessary.
Education: We organize activities to inform our younger guests about plastic pollution and the importance of sustainability.
